About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Officer / HR Administrator to join our HR Shared Solutions team at Penske Transportation Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing for approximately 1,300 employees across Australia and New Zealand.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Process weekly and monthly pay runs for our New Zealand teams, including PAYG withholding tax, salary sacrifice deductions, superannuation, leave and workers compensation payments.
- Identify and streamline process improvements, including Award interpretation.
- Recommend enhancements for payroll policies, procedures and administrative processes.
- Manage the payroll inbox and support HR onboarding activities.
- Collaborate with the team on payroll / HR projects.
- Assist with general HR administration, annual remuneration reviews, incentive payments and HR policy reviews.
About You:
We are looking for a self-motivated, driven and detail-oriented individual with previous experience in a similar payroll processing / HR role. You will have knowledge of current legislation affecting employment relationships and excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work well in a team and build relationships with stakeholders.
