The Mine Control Supervisor is responsible for the safe and productive execution of the Daily Mine Plan. The Mine Control Supervisor will manage the execution of shift-based tasks, monitor multiple mining systems and reporting, attend short interval control meetings and ensure the Mine Controllers are using the Wenco suite of products to maximise efficiency within the operation. The role is considered part of the Mine Control Leadership Team and will form part of a high-performing dynamic team at Maules Creek Coal.
What You'll Do
Supervise the Mine Control and Mine Operations as required and attend daily performance and SIC meetings Optimise haulage by identifying and communicating improvement ideas and opportunities throughout the shift Support the Production Supervisors to execute and validate the production plan Provide consistent instructions in line with Maules Creek Coal's mining procedures/equipment and the operation of the Wenco FMS Manage and monitor the training of the Mine Control team, ensuring training plans are implementedWhat You'll Bring
Previous experience with FMS in a Control Room/IROC/ROC setting & supervisory experience Ability to think laterally with a high degree of digital literacy across multiple systems High level of communication ability with well-developed interpersonal skills Ability to manage competing priorities simultaneously to meet multiple goals Live local or willing to relocate to the Gunnedah region (assistance provided)Why Whitehaven Coal?
