A Maintenance Facility at Rivergate Marina, together with an Operation Base at Hawthorne form the primary places maintenance is performed.

As the People and Culture Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing our workplace environment.

Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing HR strategies, managing employee relations & training, and fostering a culture that aligns with RiverCity Ferries' values.


About You

The successful applicant must possess:

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in HR management, with a focus on culture development.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships at all levels of the organisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive HR initiatives that contribute to organisational success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute HR strategies that support organisational goals and objectives.
  • Implement effective talent acquisition and retention strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Lead the Learning and Development Department with one direct report
  • Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and overall wellbeing.
  • Manage employee relations, addressing concerns, and promoting a positive work environment.
  • Collaborate with leadership to ensure alignment of HR practices with business objectives.
  • Design and implement professional development programs to nurture employee growth.
  • Oversee performance management processes and guide managers and employees.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
