Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Procurement Strategies
As a Procurement Manager, you will lead the development of procurement and contracting strategy, identifying preferred types of contracts considering project scope and risks. You will also complete supplier due diligence and integration activities for spend requirements.
- Drive Supplier Rationalisation
You will implement procurement and sourcing strategies that deliver value for money outcomes, drive supplier and product/service rationalisation through cross-functional reviews, and perform procurement reporting and analysis of management information to identify potential value improvement opportunities.
- Maintain Contractual Relationships
You will maintain contractual and business relationships with vendors, facilitate implementation of procurement change initiatives that improve business performance, and provide valuable insights to support management decision-making.
Requirements- Experience and Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the Procurement Manager position brings significant experience in procurement within either the public sector or a corporate services environment. You possess an undergraduate degree in business/finance or a similar field, or an equivalent combination of relevant education/training and experience.
- Skills and Abilities
You have extensive knowledge of the procurement lifecycle and best practices, proven abilities in prioritising work effectively, managing activities efficiently, and fostering a collaborative team environment. You also have demonstrated knowledge of workplace obligations promoting a safe, healthy, equitable, diverse, and respectful workplace.
