ABOUT THE ROLE


As a Senior Medical Receptionist with demonstrated administration experience, ideally within a healthcare environment, you will join the Newcastle Clinic, on a Permanent Full-Time basis working 38 hours per week.

Reporting directly to the Practice Manager, you will have the opportunity to manage a variety of tasks and customer demands.

You will also be responsible for supervising a team of six members, leading, managing and maintaining efficient day-to-day operations of the clinic particularly in the absence of the Practice Manager.


DUTIES
The responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

  • Coordination of the clinic operations
  • Effective team supervision of administration staff
  • Assistance of human resource functions including recruitment, inductions and performance management
  • Promoting and embedding a high level standard of customer service delivery
  • Reception and general administration duties
  • Processing medical bookings
  • Results management
  • Conducting preliminary medical assessments
  • Administering health questionnaires
  • Invoicing

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
You will have relevant experience in administration, and supervising staff, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Additional requirements include:

  • Ability to engage, and coach staff to achieve desired business outcomes
  • High level of computer skills
  • A strong commitment to customer service
