About the Opportunity
Reporting to the P&C Business Partner, the People & Culture Advisor provides high quality, professional, accurate and responsive advice to stakeholders on a range of relevant People & Culture matters, ensuring P&C practices comply with legislative requirements, including the Fair Work Act, Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements

***Key responsibilities:
  • Provide advice and guidance to people leaders and employees on workplace relations matters, including relevant industrial instruments, applicable employment related legislation and internal policies.
  • Coach and support people leaders on the endtoend management of ER/IR matters involving performance management, absence management, grievances, conduct and behaviour to build capability and ensure managers are informed and supported to lead effectively
  • Escalate matters as appropriate in accordance with agreed processes and framework while maintaining visibility of case management and service levels
  • Interpret Enterprise Agreements, Awards, and employment legislation to support employment related matters, queries and disputes while ensuring regulatory compliance and reduction of legal risk
  • Maintain proactive awareness of the IR landscape and legislative changes

What you'll need to be successful

  • Relevant qualification in HR or related discipline
  • Experience with the Fair Work Commission will be well regarded
  • 3+ years' experience in a HR advisory position
  • Proven capability in endtoend management of ER matters
  • Experienced in interpreting and providing advice across polices & industrial instruments, including Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements
