We're seeking an experienced People & Culture (P&C) Business Partner on a 12month parental leave cover to join our P&C Business Partnering team.

Based in Melbourne, you'll play a pivotal role in coaching, mentoring, and supporting leaders to navigate P&C related matters.
This role will require occasional travel to our operational sites to partner with key stakeholders across the business.
In addition, we are looking for a P&C Business Partner in Melbourne to support our Customer Markets portfolio.

In this 12mth role, you will be an integral part of our team as a trusted advisor, shaping the future of P&C at AGL as the business unit experiences growth and transformation.

What you'll be doing

Business Partnering:
Be an integral part of the team, supporting them in dealing with people and culture-related matters.
Collaborate with the P&C Business Partnering team to co-develop and deliver people strategies.

Talent & Capability:

Enable leaders to grow and manage talent effectively, developing and executing workforce plans aligned with business and people strategy.


Change Management:

Lead the development and implementation of people change initiatives, helping leaders manage the impact of change and providing expert advice through restructuring projects.


Employee / Industrial Relations:
Lead enterprise agreement negotiations, manage industrial grievances, and maintain effective relationships with union representatives.
About you
What you'll bring to the table
Proven experience as a trusted P&C Business Partner, with strong generalist experience in large and complex organisations.
Collaborative style with excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing ability.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to deliver effective case management and support with wide range of HR cyclical activities.

Proven track record in successfully managing complex IR/ER matters and negotiating with union representatives in operational workforce will be highly regarded.

Undergraduate and/or postgraduate qualifications in a HR/business discipline or equivalent experience.
