_Customer Service Manager - Large Format Retail - Bentleigh East _


Join a well-established and prominent retailer with a strong focus on catering to the needs of families, expectant parents, and children at the Hawthorn store.

The store is a vibrant hub offering an extensive range of high-quality baby and children's products, from essentials like clothing, toys, and nursery furniture to innovative and stylish accessories.


As an Customer Service Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the store's growth and ensuring customers' delight with our products and services.

You will work closely with the Store Manager to lead a dynamic team and create a welcoming and inspiring shopping environment.


Your role will encompass a diverse range of responsibilities, including:

Customer Service Excellence:

  • Ensure all customers receive personalised and exceptional service, making their shopping experience delightful and memorable.
  • Handle escalated customer inquiries or concerns with professionalism and empathy, striving for prompt resolutions.

Team Leadership:

  • Support the Store Manager in recruiting, training, and motivating a team of dedicated sales associates.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work culture, encouraging collaboration, teamwork, and individual growth.

3.

Sales and Performance:

  • Assist in driving sales by monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) and implementing effective strategies to achieve targets.
  • Contribute to visual merchandising and store layout decisions to optimize product displays and attract customer attention.

4.

Inventory Management:

  • Coordinate with the Store Manager to manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and ensure product availability at all times.

5.

Store Operations:

  • Assist in overseeing daytoday operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash management, and security protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations.

Key Skills & Experiences:

  • Proven experience in retail management is a must.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Strong customer service orientation and a genuine passion for assisting families and children.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to problemsolving.
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems and retail POS software.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
