As the Commercial Administrator, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our commercial and administrative functions especially pricing related, to ensure the smooth operation of our business processes.

The Role


Reporting to the Commercial Manager (Vic) and based at our office in Coolaroo, you will be responsible for pricing existing & new work, ensuring effective management of contracts and working in partnership with our teams to improve commercial outcomes.

This role can be based at Dandenong as well post completion of an initial 3-month training period in Coolaroo.

Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Process pricing quotes in a timely and accurate manner
  • Manage and implement price adjustments as required and ensure all pricing is completed in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Assist to Develop, operate and maintain commercial systems and procedures that will meet the needs of the business.
  • Assist sales and other manufacturing teams with timely and relevant information as required.
  • Maintain Contract management database, reporting and follow up of actions.
  • Understand and ensure work complies with controlled documents, and complete and maintain quality records when required by procedural documentation.
  • Comprehensive analytical experience using Excel and other tools.
  • Highlight poor performing accounts as required.
  • Participate in business improvement activities as required.

To be considered you must have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification and significant prior experience in a similar role within a fast-paced environment
  • Similar commercial experience in manufacturing operations, especially within the packaging sector is desirable.
  • Strong data, financial and market analytical skills
  • You are a passionate outcome driven selfstarter who thrives in an autonomous environment.
