The Centre is home to some of the largest conferences and events in Tropical North Queensland. Where no two days are the same, the centre hosts an exciting array of events, conferences, concerts, NBL basketball games, banquets, public events, and performances. You will work with a team of dedicated professionals to achieve excellence in events in our multi-million dollar refurbished and brand-new building.

SECURITY COORDINATOR

6 month contract

ABOUT THE ROLE:

You will ensure that all events and operations are delivered in a safe and secure environment.

  • Monitor and operate Access Control and CCTV systems.
  • Assist in the management of emergency of services and evacuation procedures.
  • Conduct building opening and closing procedures.
  • Maintain the safety of the Centre.

  • You will have a minimum of 1 years' experience in a security role.
  • You will enjoy working flexible hours, including weekends, evenings and public holidays.
  • You will hold a valid security license.
