We are currently seeking an experienced Digital & Technology (D&T) Business Partner to join the D&T Team at St Vincent's Health Australia (SVHA) and play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing the planning, execution, and performance of D&T services for St Vincent's Private Hospitals.

Reporting to the National Director of D&T Business Partnering and the CEO of St Vincent's Private Hospitals, you will utilize your creative flair and expertise to ensure the seamless alignment of D&T operations with the strategic goals, healthcare standards, and day-to-day functions of St Vincent's Private Hospitals, as outlined in the SVHA Strategy 2030 and the broader SVHA Mission.

We seek a dynamic individual with a positive attitude, resilience, and excellent interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with stakeholders of diverse technical backgrounds.


Key responsibilities of the role:
Collaborate with stakeholders and staff to offer insights and guidance on D&T's capacity requirements to support the realization of the St Vincent's Private Hospitals roadmapSupervise the planning, budgeting, design, and implementation of technology solutions, devices, infrastructure, architecture, and D&T support framework to meet customer experience objectivesProactively oversee the project pipeline in partnership with stakeholders, from project prioritization and design to funding, implementation, risk management, and performance evaluationLead, cultivate, and manage the interaction between D&T, Private Hospitals, Visiting Medical Officers, executives, and staff, fostering a collaborative team environment

Act as the primary contact for D&T services and the key escalation point for critical and severe D&T incidents affecting Private Hospitals.

Drive initiatives for continuous enhancement and engage in Private Hospitals accreditation and risk management efforts, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.


Qualifications and skills that are beneficial for this role:
Extensive expertise in technology strategy, architecture, planning, and implementationD&T knowledge and experience in the Healthcare sector, including familiarity with Tier 1 EMR systemsStrong track record in client management with advanced influencing, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilitiesPostgraduate qualifications in IT, Commerce, Management, Business, or related fields, or relevant industry certificationsAccreditations in Project, Program, and Portfolio Management as well as ITIL Certification (or equivalent)Preferably, a background in clinical practiceAbility to work full-time, 3-4 days per week on-site, and flexibility to travel and work beyond regular hours for critical incident managementCurrent 2024 Flu Vaccine (or willingness to receive), and a minimum of two (2) COVID-19 Vaccinations is mandatory
