In a newly created position, you will be joining the Crop Science Marketing team to lead the development and implementation of marketing launch excellence for new products and solutions across the broad crop science portfolio (broadacre, horticulture, cotton, summer crops, biologics).

You will define and maintain launch standards, processes and create tools to achieve a consistent best practice across all new launches while tracking our performance in these areas.


This will deliver significant value by ensuring that we have effective launch plans for our new products, so that we can maximise Bayer value and deliver on our financial objectives and return on capital.


Working in a hybrid environment, you will ideally be based near our new Hawthorn office in Melbourne and split your time between working from the office and home.

Occasional travel will be required to meet with the field team, attend launch events and field days.

Our new office provides a beautiful open plan work environment which encourages across departmental collaboration. Close to public transport and secure free onsite parking is also available.

This role will allow you to deliver the following tasks:

Project Commercial Readiness

  • Work closely with Brand Managers and the broader customer marketing team to mapout launch plans, key timelines and milestones.
  • Track launch activities and communicate the plan and deliverables with the project teams.
  • Drive a consistent approach across the portfolios and collate, analyse, and feedback learnings.
  • Work with Project Management Office to ensure internal Bayer systems, workspaces and Share points are maintained and updated in line with project updates and milestones.

Coordination and collaboration

  • Coordination of crossfunctional project teams to help guide launch planning activities and tasks that contribute to the success and execution of our product launches.
  • Collaborate broadly across functions and ensure transparency of information flow.

Performance Tracking:
Performance Tracking

  • Monitor, track and ensure project teams adhere to agreedupon project timelines.
  • Monitor project risks and raise any issues which pose a risk to the project delivery.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate project performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.

  • Successful proven experience in product launches and marketing coordination, with a variety of product launches as a project leader.
  • Exceptional prioritization skills.
  • Outstanding ability to influence nondirect reports through your natural collaborative communication skills.
  • Excellent process and project management skills (we use inhouse and off the shelf PMO software).
  • A strong continuous improvement aptitude.
  • The ability to switch being working autonomously and as a part of a wider Marketing team member in a matrixed organization with ease.
  • Experience in the agricultural industry is highly desirable.
  • Be a selfstarter and results driven whilst always keeping a customerfocussed approach.
  • Strong problemsolving skills.
