Coles Liquor is a trusted retailer with three iconic trading banners, Liquorland, First Choice Liquor Market and Vintage Cellars.

About the role:

A new opportunity for a Marketing Planner has arisen within our passionate and energetic Media & Demand Generation team.

Reporting to the Media Manager - Brand & Campaigns, you'll be empowered to manage Coles Liquor Group's Local Area Marketing (LAM) media activity for new and renewal store launches.


Please note this is a 12 month fixed-term contract.

You'll also:

  • Manage tailored local area marketing omnichannel campaigns for store launches
  • Ensure timelines and processes are met for all production requirements
  • Coordinate and support new store launch customer activations
  • Ensure all campaigns are delivered to agreed budget including ensuring external and internal parties are meeting deadlines.

About you and your skills:


Tertiary qualified in Advertising, Marketing, or Business you will ideally have creative/media agency background or experience from an in-house marketing department in a retail or FMCG environment.

Experience coordinating and managing customer events and/or activations is preferred but not essential.

You'll also have:

  • End to end campaign planning and execution experience
  • Experience briefing media agencies
  • Stakeholder management and strong influencing ability
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Event management experience will be advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication skills and strong project management ability
