A bout the role

An opportunity exists for a friendly and enthusiastic customer service professional to join the Business Service Centre (BSC).


We're looking for someone who has availability to cover a variety of shifts, which can include day, evening, night, weekend and public holiday shifts.

This will also include the ability to cover both planned and unplanned leave.

  • Please note that during the first 23 weeks, various training shifts are required to ensure you have adequate training and support before flying solo as a casual.
About you

To be successful in this role you will possess:
Exceptional customer service skills and previous experience in a customer service role

An interest in healthcare, previous experience in the health environment would be advantageous but not essential

A team focus with the ability to work well as part of a diverse team

Strong computer skills

An eagerness to learn and develop your skills

Flexibility to work additional hours would be beneficial

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role.

  • Ability to work calmly under pressure whilst handling high volume help desk requests and phone traffic in a responsive, courteous and professional manner
  • Empathy and a 'can do' attitude in response to customer enquiries and requests for assistance

  • Previous experience in the medical or health sector highly regarded
