A bit about the role
We are looking for a future focused, advocate for innovation and collaboration, driven and motivated individual to join the team in the Office of the Director, City Life.
As the City Life Innovation and Continuous Improvement Officer, you will facilitate a culture of continuous improvement and operational efficiency by leading the delivery of evidence-based cross Directorate initiatives, change management and projects.
In this role, you will collaborate and lead the planning, organisation and delivery of meetings, forums, events and engagement activities that enable cross Directorate collaboration amongst City Life.
What you'll deliver
- Lead, implement and monitor a range of Directorate wide continuous improvement initiatives with leaders and stakeholders across City Life
- Coordinate, project manage and provide advice on projects, including developing project plans, schedules, updating and monitoring budgets and reporting activities for City Life with a focus on the Council Plan and Community Vision
- Research, compile, analyse and summarise information to formulate correspondence and provide evidencebased responses and recommendations to enquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
What you'll bring
- Welldevelopment Project Management, problemsolving and analytical skills and experience
- Background in working with governments and community services in developing and implementing plans and projects as it pertains to continuous improvement initiatives
- Welldeveloped interpersonal, facilitation and communication skills both verbal and written, with the ability to deal with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Qualifications in a relevant discipline such as, Business, Public Policy, Social Sciences, Communications and Engagement, or Community Development
- A positive, curious and flexible mind.
