About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Landscape Technical Officer to join our Open Space department at Wyndham City. As a key member of our team, you will provide technical advice to developers, landscape architects, and contractors on landscape and urban design issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site inspections and provide guidance to ensure compliance with landscape and urban design standards.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress and completion.
- Assist in the management of capital works projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standard.
- Support the development of tender documentation and evaluation of tenders and quotes.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of project planning and community consultation principles.
- Ability to read and interpret landscape and similar plans.
- Understanding of local, state, and federal government interrelationships and program functions.
- Continuous improvement mindset with a positive, proactive, and flexible attitude.
