You will be involved in supporting NRFA's non-legal initiatives in these areas, collaborating with various internal groups and committees to drive positive change within our organization and the community.

This position presents a unique opportunity to work closely with our ESG Group Chair and National Pro Bono Team Leader, contributing to impactful programs that benefit our staff, clients, and society as a whole.

Responsibilities:

Social Impact

  • Establish and nurture meaningful relationships with community partners and charitable organizations
  • Identify and promote volunteering opportunities for NRFA staff nationally
  • Provide administrative support to state charity committees and respond to donation requests

Reconciliation

  • Support the delivery of NRFA's Reconciliation Action Plan and facilitate reconciliation activities
  • Chair meetings and provide administrative assistance for the Reconciliation Action Plan Working Group
  • Organize key reconciliation events such as NAIDOC week

Sustainability

  • Assist in implementing NRFA's Sustainability strategy, focusing on climate impact and carbon reduction
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to report on sustainability metrics periodically
  • Manage external consultancies supporting the climate program and represent NRFA in global Sustainability Working Group

Additional Activities

  • Address tenders/pitches/client requests related to NRFA's policies and track record
  • Deliver internal training sessions and manage budget for each area
  • Engage with various stakeholders including management teams, Pro Bono Team, and charity partners

Requirements:

As a highly effective communicator, you should excel in coordinating multiple programs concurrently. In addition, you should possess:

  • Commercial acumen and experience in implementing strategies
  • Background in professional services
  • Expertise in client relationship management and drafting corporate communications
  • Strong networking abilities within community organizations and charities
  • Capability to collaborate with diverse teams efficiently
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Proficiency in project and event management
