The Role


Known internally as Coordinator Project Delivery - Infrastructure, your role is to drive the delivery of the annual capital works program, with a focus on achieving time, financial and program completion objectives.

The role will provide leadership and management to the delivery team and collaborate with other Teams and Branches within council.

You will provide leadership to and day-to-day management of the Delivery Team in support of the Manager Project Delivery.

Essential Criteria

  • Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Construction, or Civil Engineering, relevant technical discipline or demonstrated equivalent competencies gained through experience
  • Demonstrated experience in Capital Works and Infrastructure Projects and able to deliver a program of works and projects, achieve objectives with limited resources and tight deadlines, and identify project interdependencies and balance competing demands and priorities
  • Understanding relevant Project Management practices and principals and system implementation
  • Proven history of identifying and implementing innovative processes and ideas to optimise workflows and capitilise on technology, people and contemporary methodologies
  • Demonstrated financial management experience with budgets, estimations, resource planning and project management
