Hotel Services Manager

About the Role


The Hotel Services Manager is responsible for ensuring the prompt and efficient service delivery of our patient food and beverage service, and will also be operationally responsible for environmental services management and delivery, including waste management, within the hospital.

In particular you will be required to ensure strict hygiene, infection control and OH&S standards are maintained.

Relevant experience in the industry is desirable.

About You


To be successful in this role you will bring your prior experience and knowledge of team management principles, with the ability to manage the performance, training, motivation and wellbeing of a team.

You will have previous experience in a similar position, ideally from within a health care or hotel environment, and have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage stakeholder relationships at all levels.


You will also bring;

  • Degree or Diploma as a chef/catering/hospitality or Trade qualifications in catering, chef/HACCP
  • Food safety supervision experience
  • Chef background
  • Ability to initiate and implement quality programs
  • Enthusiasm and commitment
  • Proven ability to manage change
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
  • Computer literacy with rostering experience will be well regarded
  • Understanding of Infection Control and Occupational Health and Safety principles
  • Proven experience in managing budget and work hours
