We are seeking to appoint a Technical Delivery Manager in IT Services as part of the Division of the Chief Operating Officer.


The Division of the Chief Operating Officer (COO) oversees portfolios responsible for a range of strategic and operational functions supporting the University's learning and teaching, research, commercial and administrative functions.

The COO supports the operations of the University by delivering whole-of-organisation strategic projects, commercial analysis and internal consulting services, built environment and campus services and delivery of high-quality professional services.


The Opportunity

We are looking for a Technical Delivery Manager to join our Infrastructure and Operations Team at IT Services, which is comprised of a team of highly skilled IT professionals from various disciplines.

In this hands-on role, you will have the autonomy to utilize the expertise of our team members as well as your own skills to ensure project success.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Support the northern and southern transformation programme, including the specification of infrastructure requirements for data networks, unified communications, infrastructure, and smart campus services for all new, refurbished, or relocated buildings
  • Project management and delivery of associated data networks, unified communications, infrastructure, and smart campus technologies
  • Planning, initiation, and management of projects including the development of comprehensive and effective project plans.
  • Develop and maintain standards documentation for networks, unified communications, and smart campus services. This includes user training, and user documentation

Your Application

  • A degree or equivalent and demonstrated experience in project management or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
  • Ability to deliver quality outcomes in a resultsoriented environment within defined timeframes and budgets
  • Strong analytical thinking and problemsolving skills and the capacity to successfully manage work priorities and meet deadlines
  • High level verbal and written communication, interpersonal, consultation and negotiating skills with a client service orientation
  • Experience in the management and supervision of staff

Remuneration


Appointment to this role will be at HEO 7 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $119,949 comprising base salary within the range of $93,273 to $102,521 plus 17% superannuation.
