Senior Project Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our team at CPB Contractors. As a key member of our Capital Delivery Office, you will be responsible for providing engineering and coordination for the design, supply, installation, and testing of TasWater Capital Delivery Office Projects.
The primary challenge of this position is to ensure the projects are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner to meet contractual arrangements made with the client. You will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure compliance with the CDO/UGL Management System and review and plan projects with the Team Lead/Project Engineer to ensure technical aspects are clear.
You will also be responsible for liaising with Project Engineer/Project Supervisor to ensure the job is on schedule, providing a focal point for all technical-based queries for associated subcontractors/suppliers, and developing scope of works required for RFT and RFQ documentation.
About the ProjectThe Selfs Point Sewer Transition Project is one of TasWater's most significant projects to date, combining four separate but interconnected projects: the Selfs Point Sewage Treatment Plant upgrade, Macquarie Point to Selfs Point pipeline, New Macquarie Point Sewage Pump Station, and decommissioning of the existing Macquarie Point Sewage Treatment Plant.
This project will deliver improved environmental outcomes and state-of-the-art facilities and treatment technologies, enabling us to treat up to 24.9 megalitres of Hobart's wastewater per day.
