Job Description


The RoleReporting to the CEO, the Chief Information Officer (CIO) is a key executive role responsible for leading the digital and information technology (IT) strategy, ensuring the alignment of digital initiatives with the College goals, and driving innovation to enhance overall business performance that leads to greater member satisfaction and outcomes.


Key responsibilities of the role will include:
Develop and oversee delivery of the College's digital strategy.
Drive digital change College-wide to enable data-driven improvement.
Partner with business leaders to deliver member-centric content and products.
Oversee design, implementation, and maintenance of technology infrastructure.
Lead adoption and integration of new digital technologies.
Support development of IT strategic plan and oversee its implementation.
Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure understanding of College's technological environment and requirements.
Expertise in IT infrastructure management, cybersecurity, data analytics, and digital transformation.

The PersonThe College operates in a complex stakeholder environment and the role requires a leader who is open, inclusive, collaborative and positive – capable of developing and executing IT strategies that drive business value and innovation in a large, complex, geographically dispersed membership-based, not for profit healthcare organisation.
