We now have an exciting opportunity available for a National Health & Safety Lead Operations / Corporate to join us in our HSEH team in either Brisbane, Sydney, or Melbourne on a full-time basis. The role leads a remote team of advisors servicing all areas of the business to foster a culture of safety and well-being throughout all levels of the company.

Reporting to the Head of Health and Safety Operations/ Corporate you will play a key role in Providing support services; Implementing and developing a revised support model, Leading change management, developing a team; delivering the HSEH mandate and Strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Health and Safety Advisor support model.
  • Ensuring optimal coverage and support across the Operations and Corporate.
  • Strong strategic mindset and change focus
  • anticipate and mitigate physical and psychosocial risks proactively.
  • Execute HSEH strategic initiatives.
  • Execute HSEH mandate.

Your background

  • 5+ years in leadership role
  • Demonstrated team development, coaching and leadership.
  • HSEH tertiary qualifications.
  • Proven ability to apply a risk mindset and change management processes.

The HSEH function is focused on enhancing APAs HSEH systems, process and leadership capability enabling a proactive and learning HSEH culture.
