The Opportunity


Ramsay Health Care is seeking a WHS Coordinator to effectively support the National Safety Team and National Safety Manager in the management of the company's safety management system (RamAusSMS) and the promotion of work health and safety at Mt Wilga Private Hospital in NSW.


As a WHS Coordinator, you will facilitate and coordinate the hospitals safety and risk management portfolio in line with corporate and business unit mission and objectives.

You will support the hospital to meet their WHS legislative obligations through implementation of the RamAusSMS.

This position will be permanent part-time hours a fortnight, reporting directly to the NSW Safety Manager.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in Workplace Health and Safety
  • Experience in Work Health and Safety and demonstrated knowledge in relevant WHS legislation
  • Effective skills in planning, time management, problem solving and decision making
  • Proven ability to work across a multilayered organisation, providing advice and education
  • Able to efficiently influence stakeholders and drive quality improvement initiatives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Certificate IV Workplace Training and Assessment
  • Experience within the health industry or a large organisation

Remuneration


A base annual salary of $100k - $110k ($60 - $66k pro rata) + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
