The role:
You will be required to provide advice to support committee chairs, senior responsible officers, senior management and stakeholders to ensure governance and meeting parameters, outcomes and decisions are effectively managed.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Develop, maintain, review and disseminate high quality documentation and other relevant information for the committees, including (but not limited to), minutes, actions, and decisions, and provide high level ongoing advice to committee chairs.
  • Develop and ensure the consistent application of business rules and quality standards across all committees supported by the eHealth Secretariat.
  • Manage the preparation and distribution of communiqués after each meeting to ensure that key stakeholders are broadly aware of matters considered, key decisions and future actions.
  • Review complex reports, submissions, briefing notes and other correspondence on a range of issues related to the above Committees/Forums and provide feedback to authors and clearance executives where they do not meet required standards/business rules.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrated experience reviewing complex reports, submissions, briefing notes, agenda papers and other correspondence for a range of executive-level and departmental stakeholders.

  • Well-developed communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills to enable effective interaction with stakeholders at all levels, including the ability to negotiate, build relationships, influence stakeholders and manage staff.
  • Exceptional attention to detail to ensure delivery of high quality outputs for executive and departmental stakeholders.
  • Proven experience working in challenging and dynamic operating environments and demonstrated experience in building and leading teams to deliver high-quality outcomes within tight timeframes
