An APS 6 vacancy is now open in the Internal Governance Section within the Portfolio Management Branch of the Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA).

The section has a high profile within DVA, collaborates closely with DVA's Executive Leadership Team and across business areas.

The Internal Governance Section overseas the coordination, planning, Secretariat support, event management and delivery of a series of DVA internal committees and forums.

The section also provides advice to internal stakeholders, including senior management, in relation to responsible governance policy and processes.

This can include conducting reviews of existing processes or frameworks and providing recommendations on changes to the Department's governance framework.

Duties

Duties Eligibility Notes This recruitment process is being used to fill ongoing and/or non-ongoing position/s.

Where a non-ongoing position is offered, the role will be filled for an initial specified term of up to18 months.

A merit pool of suitable applicants may be created which may be used to fill future ongoing and non-ongoing vacancies should they become available over the next 18 months.

Successful applicants engaged into the APS will be subject to a probation period.
