Our client is a highly successful, multi-national manufacturer of products required for ventilation and air movement. Currently they are seeking an experienced Purchasing Officer to join their team on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Procurement Manager you will be required to support the MD to achieve company goals. To this end you will work with the whole ANZ team to manage all areas of purchasing function.

Within your role you will have responsibility for the procurement of direct materiels and in-bound freight and you will be required to, but not limited to:

  • Understand and utilise purchasing functionality in the ERP system including PO's, transfer prices, etc
  • Build relationships with group and nongroup companies
  • Manage the tendering and proposal process from nongroup companies
  • Other admin tasks as required
