About the role

As a key point of contact for internal and external communication, you will provide a comprehensive secretarial and executive assistant service to a senior executive within the organisation, to enable them to optimise their work outcomes. You will be 'one step ahead' in the scheduling of resources and the executive's diary management and email correspondence.

As the Executive Assistant you will also assist in preparing reports, presentations, researching and drafting advice, coordinating travel arrangements, reviewing correspondence and actioning phone calls. Working in a fast-paced operational business, you will provide an objective voice of reason and act as a confidant to your leader. Chris Young. This role will also provide support across a variety of projects, meetings and liaising with a range of key stakeholders in a number of sites across the state.

This role requires a proactive and agile influencer, who is able to build relationships and promote the way things are done. Developing trust will be achieved through a high degree of professionalism, knowledge of the broader business, confidentiality and a mature outlook. You will demonstrate strong attention to detail, resilience, flexibility and priority management in this fast-paced role.

Extensive experience providing support at an executive level is essential and experience working onsite and in a project environment is desirable. This role provides superior executive support and ensures excellence in customer experience and service delivery across the business unit. The successful candidate will have High-level verbal communication and interpersonal skills, as well as excellent written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to produce effective corporate communication materials.
