Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is responsible for providing primary and secondary health care for people living in the Auburn, Blacktown, and The Hills Shire, Holroyd and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region. What you'll be doing

The Seniors Assessment Service appointment scheduler position will provide clerical support for the service's assessors & the effective & efficient delivery of assessment services within the team. This includes the booking of appointments for assessors to undertake basic & comprehensive assessments, in the community or hospital settings, to enable client access to aged care services & residential care.

Selection Criteria

  • Demonstrated understanding of, &/or experience in, the health sector & aged care service.
  • Previous experience in waiting list management & booking systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to address & manage conflicting demands & priorities.
  • Demonstrated high level written, verbal & interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated efficient computer skills with the capacity to learn & use electronic reporting systems.
  • Demonstrated good organisational & problem solving skills, with a 'can do' attitude.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as effectively in a collaborative team environment.
