About the Company:

Underground Manager for an ASX listed mining company in WA. With a focus on organic growth, this company offers high-grade resources and modern infrastructure, setting the stage for future expansion.

About the Role:

As the Underground Manager, you will lead an underground operations teams and oversee all underground activities. Your primary goal will be to ensure the safe and efficient achievement of budgets and forecasts. This is a permanent position with an 8/6 roster on a FIFO basis from Perth.

Responsibilities:

  • Foster a competent, engaged, safetyconscious, and performancedriven underground workforce.
  • Develop a strong team, promoting accountability and capability within a culture of mutual respect.
  • Manage and direct underground mining activities.
  • Identify and implement improvements to enhance production, quality, safety, and environmental performance.
  • Assume responsibility for safety, compliance, and efficient operations of underground mining.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Demonstrated proactive approach towards safety.
  • Valid work visa, permanent residency, or Australian citizenship.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications, such as a Bachelor of Mining Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of underground mining experience, including 3 years in a previous management role.
