**TEN Recruitment has been asked to source Underground HSEQ Advisors for a Mining company.**

**This opportunity is a full-time position for an owner/operator who has several operations across Australia.**

**Our client has significant mine life extension on its project in Western Australian and has some exciting exploration programs around the country.**

**The camp boasts modern amenities, including a newly constructed gym and top-notch dining options.**

**This role will be an 8/6 day shift only roster and can be FIFO from Perth, Geraldton or Kalgoorlie.
**Your responsibilities may include**:

- Develop strong working relationships with site contractors and H&S teams.
- Provide a high level of HSEQ advice to support the underground mine site team.
- Encourage continuous development for HSEQ systems and procedures.
- End of month reporting and daily updating of event management systems.
- Facilitate risk assessments, participate in HSE incident investigations, and conduct safety inspections of equipment and work practices.
- Ensure compliance with all OHS requirements and established workplace procedures.
- Accurate data entry and document management.
- Maintenance of the HSEQ and training management systems.
- Assist with drug and alcohol screenings for employees.
- Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Current Manual Driver’s Licence
- Working knowledge of the Work Health and Safety Act 2020 and Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations 2022
- Qualification in incident investigation such as ICAM
- Experience in WHS management systems such as INCONTROL
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate
- Minimum 3 years previous experience working in a similar underground role.

This position is offered on a full-time permanent basis on an annual salary including Superannuation, and a short-term incentive plan. Our client also has first class camp facilities and has flexible roster options.

Applicants who succeed will need to fulfil our pre-employment standards, which involve undergoing a pre-employment medical assessment, drug and alcohol screening, as well as presenting a valid National Police Clearance and verification of qualifications. Additionally, proof of the right to work in Australia is mandatory.
