Are you a hands-on expert who loves working with underground mining equipment? Bis Industries is looking for a skilled and passionate Technical Supervisor to join our team in Mackay, QLD where you'll be a key player in keeping our gear running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Undertake maintenance work and provide technical guidance with overhauling/repairing of underground equipment to ensure compliance to AS/NZS 3584 certification and in accordance with the scheduled conditions of the ExDES (RSF) Licence and of a RSF (Recognised Service Facility) Assist with ensuring standards, guidelines, design registrations, technical bulletins and plant safety files are relevant to the AS/NZS 3584 maintenance, overhaul and repair of ExDES equipment. Provide input from a technical perspective in the planning, implementation of the overall Underground Workshop maintenance services strategy. Assist with ensuring that work scopes are in line with technical compliance/competencies to ensure maximum equipment availability.
Qualifications & Requirements

Engineering Trade or similar qualification RIIDES Units of Competency (AS/NZS3584.3 Table 4.1) Certificate IV in Front Line Management or similar (a plus) 5+ years' experience in ExDES repair and maintenance on underground equipment like Loaders, Driftrunners, PJB Minecruisers, Continuous Miners, Graders, Shuttle Cars, Feeder Breakers, Power Generators, and more.
