YOUR ROLE


An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic Internal Account Manager with a robust sales background, preferably in call centres or as a previous Internal Account Manager.

This role, based in our Perth Office within the WA team, involves proactive engagement with existing customers to achieve budgeted sales and margin targets.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maximising retention and expanding our share of business with existing customers, targeting sectors like hospitality, healthcare, small hotels, and various general business accounts.
  • Achieving sales targets, potentially managing accounts worth around $2m.
  • Collaborating with major suppliers for technical demonstrations to customers.
  • Anticipating customers' future demands and liaising with inventory control to exceed delivery expectations.
  • Engaging with a diverse range of customers, from resellers in the hospitality sector to random small companies, to understand their needs and identify sales opportunities.
  • Using your strong computer and Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, to maintain customer databases and track sales progress.
  • Researching and qualifying new leads, closing sales, and achieving targets.

Your profile includes:

  • Exceptional customer service skills and confidence in making phone calls.
  • A strong foundation in internal account management, with a focus on results and independent task management.
  • Curiosity and innovation, with a drive to learn and grow within the company.
  • Competency in computer skills, particularly in Excel and customer relationship management software.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with people at all levels of an organization.
  • A background in debt collection could be advantageous, reflecting your resilience and negotiation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and adaptability to work with pace and accuracy.
