The Role

Reporting to the National Data and Digital Leader who drives the strategic alliances function within Scyne Advisory Australia. The role will be both client facing and internal, leading our strategic alliances to help determine joint go-to-market offerings, sales and pipeline development and to facilitate the smooth running of strategic alliances.

In this role, you will create value by:

The Alliance Director will build deep relationships with our Strategic Alliance partners (Microsoft, Salesforce and other partners) Scyne client lead partners, sector leaders and divisional leaders, working with them to define alliance-based solutions, and agreeing the priority target sectors and accounts.

The Alliance Director will be involved in key pursuits that involve strategic alliances and actively participate in select strategic accounts to support pipeline generation, drive sales, and successfully execute joint opportunities.

The successful candidate will lead the end-to-end alliance processes aligned to the overall Scyne Alliance strategy and implement enhancements to streamline where appropriate.

They will collaborate with

  • Scyne leaders and Alliance partner leadership to develop strong alliance-based value propositions, which will clearly define the alliance GTM approach.
  • Alliance partners and Scyne functions and leading expertise to produce GTM communications, thought leadership, press releases, website, promotional activities.
  • Scyne leaders to develop key relationships with Alliance sales and sales leadership including the development of joint pursuit plans and regular cadences.
  • Work closely with the National Head of Alliances to oversee the smooth running of the relationships. Provide assistance and facilitate key sales meetings.
  • Work with the alliance partners and internal Alliance Operations on the internal and external GTM of the alliances within the market (comms, thought leadership, press releases, website, promotional activities)
  • Scyne functional/divisional partners to develop sales strategies and set revenue targets and budgeting for the key alliances.
  • In conjunction with the Heads of Alliances, responsibility for ensuring alliance partner governance processes is followed.
  • In conjunction with the Head of Alliances, work with industry and divisional leads to identify new business and incubation opportunities with alliances that can enhance Scyne's offerings.
  • Engage with both Client & Markets teams to identify and support the development of joint GTM plans and key Pursuits including facilitating joint GTM and pursuit workshops.
  • The alliance operations team to ensure all alliance related tracking and reporting is carried out effectively.

About You

  • At least 10 years' experience in a sales or client-facing professional role, in a complex solution sales environment
  • Demonstrated relevant alliance management experience.
  • Experience in a professional services organisation is preferable.
  • Experience of working within one of the strategic alliance organisations is preferable.
  • Strong experience in reporting and communications
  • Strong drive and resilience; capability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to take the initiative, forward plan and find pragmatic solutions.
  • Pro-active and results oriented approach.
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Comfortable operating on their own and within a team
