The role of the Managing Director of International Development & Finance is pivotal in leading Sangui Bio's international development and expansion and financing developments in early cancer detection and diagnosis. In this position, you will be responsible for determining, formulating, and executing financing strategy and plans for Sangui Bio's direction to penetrate targeted new markets, establish strong collaborations and partnerships, fund and drive development projects, and revenue growth in those international markets. This is a fulltime role of 38 hours per week.
Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities of the Managing Director of International Development & Finance:
- Develop and implement comprehensive business development objectives and financing strategy to enter and expand into key international markets, aligning with Sangui Bio's overall vision and objectives.
- Provide visionary leadership and overall direction and management to guide Sangui Bio in navigating the complexities of global markets, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
- Analyse competitive landscapes and regulatory environments to monitor and evaluate Sangui Bio's positioning, ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and determine strategic opportunities by leading the identification, evaluation, financing and pursuit of new business opportunities, including collaborations, alliances, and market entry strategies.
- Identify and pursue strategic partnerships and funding opportunities. Initiate strategic collaborations by representing Sangui Bio at official events to develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and government entities, to facilitate business growth and expansion. Increase visibility of Sangui Bio to build exposure among target audiences by representing Sangui Bio at conventions, seminars, and forums.
- Lead international financing negotiations for key deals, contracts, project deployment, and technical development. Represent Sangui Bio at official events for project implementation and financing in key international markets, including projects in research and development and market validation collaborations. Ensure favourable terms and alignment with Sangui Bio's goals.
- Report to the Chairman and work collaboratively to consult with cross-functional teams, including research and development, marketing, finance, and legal departments. Review strategic recommendations and operational reports from senior team members whilst monitoring performance metrics and objectives and overseeing the preparation of comprehensive financial reports, budgets, and forecasts. Presenting strategic, operational, and financial forecasts and reports to the board and advising on related opportunities for Sangui Bio's international development.
- Oversee the allocation of resources, including budget, personnel, and infrastructure, to implement Sangui Bio policies and support international business initiatives. Ensure efficient utilization of resources while maximizing return on investment and adhering to budgetary constraints.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Proven track record of at least 10 years in international markets, with a focus on business engagement and capital raising at a senior decision-making level
- Experience in project assessment and financing in the healthcare environment
- Experience working with Board of Directors
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships, licensing agreements, and market expansion initiatives
- Experience in global executive leadership roles, with a strong emphasis on strategic planning and execution
