The Role
We currently have an opportunity available for a Client Services Consultant to join the IAG team located in Bendigo.

In this position you will be responsible for handling incoming calls from new and existing customers to assist them in choosing the right coverage for their business insurance needs.

To be successful in this position you will be a customer focused individual with excellent communication skills, strong ability to build rapport and identify sales opportunities that are in line with customer's needs.


This is a 12 month max term position, and requires full time availability to work between during operation hours of 8:30am to 5pm.


Key Responsibilities

  • Create a connection with your customer by understanding their needs
  • Deliver timely service outcomes for customers and distribution partners in line with agreed standards
  • Manage customer calls in a timely and efficient manner
  • Attend and partake in the officebased training and team meetings.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance requirements and quality standards
  • Demonstrate IAG values and behaviours

Skills & Experience

  • The ability to multitask and confidently manage multiple technologies
  • Strong customer focus and ability to connect with customer
  • A proactive approach and resilience to overcome customer objection
  • Strong interpersonal skills (both written and verbal)
  • Experience working towards Key Performance Indicators
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Relevant industry experience is desired but not essential
