Job OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team, working closely with clients, their families, and support workers to achieve their goals. As a key member of our Allied Health team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, providing evidence-based therapy services that promote independence and rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality, client-centered occupational therapy services to adults with physical disabilities
- Work collaboratively with clients, their families, and support workers to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Conduct assessments and provide recommendations for assistive technology, home modifications, and other support services
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, their families, and support workers to ensure seamless service delivery
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of client-centered care plans
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or recognized equivalent degree
- Experience working with adults with physical disabilities, including CP, MD, Stroke, ABI, MS, MND, and Parkinson's
- Good working knowledge of the NDIS and its principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
