About the Role:

This job will involve;

  • Actively prospect and pursue new business opportunities whilst maintaining our current customer base
  • Positively and effectively promote John Deere construction equipment, parts and service, focusing on solutions for customers and building long term relationships to maximise client and company profitability
  • Coordinate and support field demonstrations at customer work sites.
  • Develop a keen awareness of the competition and competitive products, as well as business and industry
  • Use Company provided systems/tools to fully document, track, record, followup and capture all related sales activity in a timely and accurate manner
  • Work in conjunction with Sales Manager and relevant Departments, responsible for followup and expediting of whole good orders

You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:

  • 3 years + previous sales experience (essential), ideally in either earthmoving or construction equipment
  • An inquisitive mindset with a strong mechanical aptitude
  • Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Suite, CRM & sales software systems
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to seek sales opportunities
  • Professional presentation
