We are working with a top-tier global law firm investing in a senior leader to drive their Government industry strategy across Australia. You will work closely with senior partners to build, develop and implement a strategic industry plan. You will also manage three key Government clients, working closely with the CRPs. This firm is transforming the way BD is done, moving away from a traditional practice-focused BD function to a proactive, ambitious, industry-led team. There is a clear strategy in place for the firm and these sectors are critical to the firm's success. You will act as the voice of the client, become the industry expert to partners and help identify where the industry intersects with mega trends. An in-depth knowledge of Australian Government plus previous key account management and team management experience are essential. You can be based in Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne.

Ideal candidate

  • Proven success in driving strategy in a professional services environment
  • Strong track record of coaching stakeholders to implement strategy and priorities
  • Experience in driving BD initiatives to support revenue growth
  • Significant knowledge of the Australian Government sector
  • Client-led mindset
  • Proven success in managing and coaching a team
