ABOUT THE ROLE

  • We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for Finance Governance and Compliance Officer to join a collaborative team on a 12month max term in Blackburn. You will assist in implementing a robust Finance governance framework and uplift our current compliance framework.


Reporting to the Finance Governance and Compliance Manager, you will assist by providing financial expertise, to facilitate the development of extensive policies, procedures and systems which work toward best practice.

The key focus of the role will be to:

  • Assist in drafting and embedding the Finance governance policies and procedures-
  • Support effective risk management and reporting in relation to financial practices-
  • Ensure consistency with IHQ (International Headquarters) Financial audit guidelines and implement any recommendations from them-
  • Collaborate with document and process owners to develop uniformity of Financial practice-
  • Support the development of new or execute changes to policy, processes and systems-
  • Assist in the design of control mechanisms to monitor ongoing complianceABOUT YOU

Key capabilities for success in this role include:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as Commerce, Accounting, Finance or Economics. CPA/CA (or progress towards) is desirable
  • Strong attention to detail & a high level of enthusiasm
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to work in a team
