CommSec, the top online broker in Australia, is in search of a Product Manager for our Product & Investing Solutions Crew. This team manages the CommSec product portfolio, overseeing Equities, Margin Lending, Cash, and Derivatives, with a focus on P&L outcomes. Our mission is to empower more Australians to enhance their wealth by managing, developing, and launching new products, features, and services.

Contribute Meaningfully

As a Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving essential P&L and customer-centric results for the CommSec Derivatives and Global Access team. Reporting to the Chapter Lead, you will establish and utilize stakeholder relationships to advance our product roadmap. Your role will involve offering customers user-friendly tools and resources to navigate their investment choices.

Specifically, you will:

  • Oversee products like Exchange Traded Options, Warrants, and International Trading
  • Evaluate product performance against regulatory and performance goals
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to formulate and execute product plans and document procedures
  • Act as an expert on changes introduced by CommSec and CBA teams and business partners
  • Execute initiatives on the product roadmap through individual and team efforts
  • Ensure product compliance with regulatory requirements and Group Policies and Standards
  • Analyze data and financial metrics to assess product performance and pinpoint areas for enhancement
  • Proactively manage risks linked to the product
  • Identify customer needs and pain points to drive improvements and achieve positive outcomes
  • Enhance the product offering and processes continually to enrich the overall customer journey
  • Cultivate strong relationships along the product value chain to ensure effective product roadmap delivery and issue resolution

  • Prior experience in product management or project management is highly valuable
  • Familiarity with CommSec/Investing Products, Processes, and Systems is advantageous but not mandatory
  • A dedication to customer-centric product design
  • Strategic abilities and business acumen with a history of guiding and executing projects
  • Effective communication, stakeholder engagement, and management skills
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and comfort in navigating uncertainties
  • Experience in agile environments and collaboration with peers
