We are growing Reporting to the General Manager of People and Culture, Sunny Queen Australia are seeking an experienced Senior People and Culture Coordinator, based at our vibrant Carole Park state of the art facility. Desired Skills and Experience

Key responsibilities:

  • This exciting new role is a permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday at our Head Office in Carole Park. Reporting to the General Manager People & Culture, you will have the opportunity to: Oversee the recruitment process and foster a collaborative and diverse workforce
  • Manage all facets of payroll systems and compliance, including supporting payroll coordinator
  • Develop and implement HR policies for legal compliance
  • Advise leaders on legislate changes
  • Foster positive employee relations by addressing employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances in a timely and fair manner.
  • Generate regular reports and analytics to track HR performance, trends, and areas for improvement.
  • Lead performance management support and provide feedback
  • Lead mentor and support People Coordinator and Payroll Coordinator [2 x direct reports]
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in HR management and make recommendations for continuous improvement

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role including experience in managing payroll compliance and systems
  • Advanced understanding of employment laws
  • Experience with HR databases and HRIS systems
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities
  • Strategic thinking and critical thinking skills
  • Manage sensitive information confidentiality
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
