About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a suitably experienced Social Media Officer to join the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator's (NHVR) Corporate Affairs division.
Within the NHVR, the Corporate Affairs division is responsible for pre-empting and responding to government and external stakeholder requirements and demands.
The Social Media Officer role works with the Campaigns team and wider organisation to ideate, create and deliver engaging and informative content for social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and TikTok.
On a day to day basis you will be responsible for developing social media campaigns, writing and creating engaging content including videos, undertaking best-practice community management across all platforms, supporting paid campaigns and industry events, and reporting on key social and digital analytics and performance.
Working with a family-friendly team, we offer a supportive, hybrid work environment. We encourage work-life balance and celebrate additional leave through rostered days off. This is a temporary position that is based in Newstead. Occasional business travel may also be required.About You
With a tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, or a related discipline, you will have demonstrated experience in developing creative and informative content across a variety of channels and mediums - graphics, video and written.
Reporting to Manager Campaigns, you will showcase your initiative by executing projects and working autonomously.
To succeed in this role, you will be able to manage priorities and deliver quality outcomes within the required timeframes.
Working closely with internal stakeholders across a variety of business divisions, you will possess high levels of interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships.
Pairing your highly developed attention to detail and ability to edit information from a range of sources, you will ensure the coordination and alignment of multiple campaigns with corporate style guides and values.
