Social Media Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Social Media Coordinator to join our Marketing team at Sportsgirl. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing our social media strategy, creating engaging content, and building strong relationships with our online community.
Key Responsibilities- Content Creation: Develop and execute a content plan schedule for Sportsgirl's marketing activity across organic and paid social channels.
- Content Capture: Capture still and video content as required for social channels.
- Content Research: Research, ideate, and execute content concepts in line with social media strategy and marketing campaigns.
- Content Trends: Ensure that you are across the latest social media trending content and sounds, and work relevant trends for Sportsgirl into the content plan.
- Copywriting: Assist in executing all copywriting for the social media channels and other channels, as required.
- External Shoots: Attend external photo shoots to capture social-focused content for use across various channels in line with strategies.
- Content Opportunities: Continually identify content opportunities to increase engagement and reach.
- Relationship Building: Maintain professional relationships with both internal and external customers and suppliers.
- Relevant Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Marketing and/or Digital.
- Short Courses: Short courses in Content & Digital across content creation, editing, and copywriting.
- Social Media Experience: Demonstrated social media experience (organic and paid).
- Content Creation Experience: Previous content creation experience.
- Retail Business Knowledge: Demonstrated Retail business knowledge ideal.
- Customer Service Experience: Customer Service/Support experience (community management).
- Time Management Skills: Strong Time management and prioritization skills.
- Software Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Drive.
- Relationship Building Skills: Customer centric and strong relationship building skills.
