The Role
Our client, a prominent Queensland State Government agency, seeks a talented PMO Manager for their Information Management (IM) Program.

As the PMO Manager, you will lead a team responsible for governance, assurance, compliance, program reporting, scheduling, finance, human resource management, risk, and issue management processes.


Responsibilities

As the PMO Manager, you will:

  • Implement and manage program and project management techniques and standards for quality outcomes.
  • Coordinate assurance and governance processes, fostering smooth gate progression.
  • Lead a highperforming team, encouraging collaboration and nurturing team members' growth.
  • Monitor and report program and project trends, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, driving process adoption.
  • Support program delivery and align with strategic priorities.

Mandatory Skills

  • Expertise in PRINCE2, MSP, and Queensland Government's Project Assurance Framework.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) establishing and managing PMOs.

Desirable skills

  • Leadership in complex ICT programs with business transformation.
  • Multidisciplinary team management and collaboration.
  • Program business case development using MSP.
  • Vendor management in multivendor environments.
  • Stakeholder relationship management.
  • Excellent negotiation, consultation, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Program and project governance and assurance experience.
  • Financial and ICT procurement process management.
  • Experience with SAP financial management systems
