The Opportunity
Lead a range of services to manage and coordinate high-level risk, policy and compliance frameworks enabling effective operations, planning and review across Climateworks Centre.
Help us to take our governance to the next level as you embed governance and risk frameworks into the organisation, helping to ensure a currency which drives best practice to strengthen our overall governance capability.
In this role you will implement, monitor and evaluate our organisational rhythm, ensuring processes, cycles, deadlines and events are coordinated and managed in alignment with competing operational and strategic requirements, and respond to external stakeholder requirements.
Providing key support to the Climateworks Board, you will advise on Board Governance, the preparation of documentation, reports, and advice to CEO, COO and Chair on Board Management processes.
You will provide high level support to our people through the provision of policy interpretation and advice, resolution of sensitive and complex issues, and undertaking a range of administrative and managerial tasks to meet the operational demands of the organisation.
Bringing a people focused approach to continuous improvement, you will collaborate with key stakeholders, playing a central role in supporting Climateworks strategic goals and initiatives through effective monitoring, evaluation and reporting.
In this role you will also be a key liaison point between Climateworks teams based in Australia and Indonesia, and Monash University, and work closely with internal partners such as Monash Sustainable Development Institute to lead a smooth and effective operation line with University policy and procedures.
