Join Our Team as a Rostering Officer at the National After-Hours Service

Are you ready to be part of a dedicated team supporting young people and children in our Out of Home Care Services? We are currently seeking a Rostering Officer to join our after-hours rostering team, managing shift changes and coordinating workforce schedules. This is a fantastic opportunity to work remotely with a rotating roster, offering a great work-life balance and room for career advancement.

About the Roster

We have multiple roster lines available with shift times ranging from early mornings to late evenings, including weekends. If you're looking for a rewarding role that requires commitment to client requirements and set shift patterns, this could be the perfect fit for you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fill shifts due to unscheduled leave and client needs outside of regular hours
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to meet customer requirements
  • Adjust schedules and systems as needed to accommodate changes
  • Develop optimal schedules for customers and workers
  • Ensure support is provided according to service agreements
  • Provide necessary reports as requested
  • Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and regulations
Skills & Experience
  • Prior experience in rostering under the SCHADS award
  • Understanding of residential support services, especially in Out of Home Care or Disability Services
  • Ability to prioritize tasks independently
  • Familiarity with rostering tools like Teams Shifts
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders
