About the Role:


A unique opportunity is now available for an experienced Human Resource "generalist" to join our team and become the Manager of People Support.

We are looking for a "hands on" dynamic leader to join our team.

Your work will take you across our multiple sites Your focus will be both strategic and operational to align HR policies, practises, and programs to match our strategy and business direction.


This will include but not be limited to:

  • Developing and implementing in conjunction with the CEO and Executive Management Team a People Strategy which will assist us to meet our vision and strategic objectives
  • Deliver a diverse range of Human Resources functions including recruitment, job design, employee learning & development, performance management, employee relations/counselling, facilitate/negotiate industrial agreements, HR administration & compliance including all obligations for ensuring a safe and healthy workplace
  • Preserve and enhance the employeremployee relationship through designing an effective employee relations strategy which contains specific steps for ensuring the overall wellbeing of employees.
  • Provide operational support and guidance to SSCT leaders and managers on strategic and operational HR initiatives including workforce planning, organisational design, change management, remuneration and benefits, talent development and performance management
  • Provide leadership, initiative, innovative thinking, and strategic direction that will assist our business to best manage its human resources.

About you:

***You will be able to work in a fast paced and challenging environment where planned growth will require you to design and implement people strategies to ensure best practice

You'll have the following:

  • A broad range of HR knowledge and the experience to provide specific accurate and pragmatic employee relations advice
  • Excellent consulting skills and strong passion for delivering results in the people space
  • The ability to coach and build relationships to achieve results both within the People Support team and the wider organisation
  • Consultative and approachable with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Preparation to be hands on and day to day operational and balance that with strategic project delivery
  • Degree (or higher) qualifications in Business, HR or a speciality "people" focus/discipline
  • Victorian Working with Children Check
  • Provide a current Victorian police check
