We are currently seeking a Marketing and Communications Manager to fill a 9-month maternity leave absence.


This position is responsible for driving and enhancing PEER's marketing and communications strategy under the leadership of the General Manager, Education Services and in close collaboration with the PEER team.

You will lead all areas of PEER's event management, marketing and communication functions.

You will be required to have a passion for apprenticeships and training to successfully execute PEER's marketing and communications strategy.

Role Responsibilities*- Lead PEER's marketing strategy and deliver 2023/24 Marketing Plan

  • Manage and oversee PEER's marketing channels digital, print and radio
  • Review insights and learnings from marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and ROI
  • Budget management
  • Collaborate with various departments and external creative agencies to ensure seamless execution of planned activities
  • Management and activation lead for key events
  • Graduation & Awards Night, career expo's, trade shows / roadshows and more
  • Develop and maintain excellent strategic relationships and networks with industry partners, sponsors and employers.
  • Provide support to the executive team
Essential Criteria*- Tertiary education in marketing

  • 35 years Marketing Manager experience
  • Event management experience
  • Strong digital marketing planning, executing and reporting skills
  • Strong copywriting skills for marketing collateral, website and social media
  • Budget management
experience

  • Data and insights experience
  • Advanced skills using Campaign Monitor, Google Analytics, Adobe, WordPress and MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong capabilities in terms of prioritising work and meeting deadlines
  • Ability to remain calm whilst working to tight deadlines and managing multiple requests
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
