The FP&A Manager is responsible for leading a team to coordinate and deliver the consolidated Group annual budget, three-year plan, quarterly forecasts, management, and external reporting and provide insights to support decision making for the Executive Team and Board.


Responsibilities

Planning, Analysis and Reporting

  • Lead the coordination and delivery of the Group annual budget, threeyear plan and quarterly forecasts.
  • Lead the coordination and delivery of monthly management reporting for the Group, including the Group Performance Report, Cash Flow and Balance Sheet analysis.
  • Maintain the Group Risk & Opportunities schedule to ensure forecasts are within the guidance range.
  • Consolidate, reconciliate, and prepare PowerPoint packs and comms for management and the board.
  • Model maintenance for shareholder reporting, management reporting, and board pack reporting.

Half-year and Full-year reporting

  • Lead the preparation of Group halfyear and fullyear reporting requirements for external stakeholders, including the OFR.
  • Lead the preparation of supporting data and insightful commentary for the Executive Team to understand key variance drivers and metrics.
  • Monitor the Group's progress towards a range of market targets and initiatives.
  • Assistance in generation, review and consolidation for half year and year end results

Strategic finance initiatives and ad hoc analysis

  • Identify and lead the delivery of continuous improvement initiatives to improve reporting processes, including developing and improving models and tools to assist in variance analysis across the Group FP&A function.
  • Provide appropriate specialist input to support key finance and business stakeholders and initiatives.
  • Add value by acting with key stakeholders' interest in mind, establishing and maintaining effective relationships, gaining trust and respect.
  • Undertake adhoc tasks and special projects as directed by management.
  • Assist business identify and fix reporting packs as and when required.

Knowledge and experience

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in complex industries
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, commerce, or economics
  • Post graduate qualifications (CA/CPA, MBA)
  • Demonstrated experience in senior finance leadership roles and demonstrated ability to lead teams.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with senior management and influencing stakeholders of varying levels of seniority.
  • Works collaboratively with others and builds and maintains strong relationships.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing financial analysis to business management.
  • Demonstrated understanding of strategic drivers and how to link to goals and performance in the business.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail and excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Excellent communication skills and an independent thinker.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a commercial and pragmatic approach
  • Ability to adapt to a fast paced and dynamic work environment.
